The Tacky Trot

Saturday, December 9th at Hurricane City Park

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Join us at Hurricane City Park at 10 AM, Saturday, December 9th, for a 1 mile Trot, at your own pace, to give hope to seriously ill children through Basket of Hope!  


  • Prizes given for top male/female finisher, tackiest trotter, most school spirit, most festive group, etc. 
  • T-shirts are provided for all participants if you register before midnight on Friday, November 17th.
  • Join us for a s'mores roast after the trot!
  • Water will be provided

  • Individual Trotters: $20
  • Family of Trotters (2 Adults + 2 Children under the age of 18): $75
  • Day-of Trotters: $10 (t-shirt not included)

Basket of Hope is a non-profit organization that started in St. Louis. The Massey's got involved with Basket of Hope when Chris played for the St. Louis Rams. Chris and Sarah brought a branch to WV when they moved home. Basket of Hope delivers baskets filled with age-appropriate and gender specific toys, games, books, crafts, movies, pre-loaded MP3 players, gift certificates and much more to children fighting Cancer and other serious illnesses.
