Super Baskets of Hope Project
The Super Baskets The 7,000 Super Baskets of Hope will be assembled in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 30th and will then be shipped to the 32 NFL city hospitals. The baskets will be filled with a Pillow Pet, 5 games from Fundex, a journal and pen from Vera Bradley, a hat from Lids, toiletry items, a mini football and basketball, and many other fun things for the hospitalized children and their families. The Hope Totes 
Thrivent Financial volunteers will assemble the 7,000 Hope Totes. The Vera Bradley Hope Totes will include a Bible, journal, U Design Jewelry Hope Necklace, uplifting music,
scrapbook items, and toiletry items.Where is Hope Being Delivered?

Media Sponsors Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Thank you to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for donating over $50,000 that has been used to purchase inspirational books to be given to children and their families as well as purchased 7,000 CDs. U Design Jewelry U Design Jewelry, along with their representatives all across the country donated 7,000 "Hope Necklaces" to help remind each family that they do have hope! Vera Bradley Vera Bradley, founded in Fort Wayne, Ind., where the home office is still located, donated 7,000 vinyl bags that will be used for the inspirational books for the children and families that accompany the baskets. Vera Bradley journals will be placed in every basket. Girls will also receive zipper ids and boys will receive a gel pen set. Fundex A Plainfield, Ind. company, Fundex, donated card games for each basket as well as lunch box games. They will be donating a total of 35,000 games for the children. Lids Lids is donating 7,000 hats for the baskets, hats from each hospital's hometown NFL team. Pacers Sports and Entertainment In addition to donating toys and basketballs to be placed in all 7,000 baskets, Pacers Sports and Entertainment has donated the use of Conseco Fieldhouse to assemble the baskets on January 30th. Indianapolis Colts The Indianapolis Colts have donated water bottles to be included in all the baskets and are providing extensive program support. Tony Stewart Foundation The Tony Stewart Foundation, Office Depot and Sharpie are donating $50,000 worth of markers, construction paper and drawing pads for the baskets. Puzzle Right Puzzle Right is donating $35,000 worth of puzzles and card games to fill the 7,000 baskets. WTHR WTHR donated $10,000 to support Super Baskets of Hope. Oxford Financial Oxford Financial donated $10,000 to support Super Baskets of Hope. KLOVE KLOVE, through the support of its listeners, donated 7,000 Pillow Pets in honor of Jacob McConahay Musical DNA Education Musical DNA Education is donating access to its web-based software to provide children an opportunity to learn how to play piano online. The company is also donating keyboards to each participating hospital. |
